Need direction on how to setup LogicPro Automation

Midi relay has an application installed on the same computer as logic pro and has a connection in companion. To get it to work with generic-midi, would need to get rtpmidi to work.

Gotcha.
My suggestion would be a reinstall of CompanionPi, AFTER backing everything up, of course!

After a little more playing with it, the midi commands (not sure if that is what they are called) change, which is a bit confusing. When changing the page the streamdeck software is on, which changes the channels it is controller, the midi commands control different channels in logic pro. So, what I was doing will not really work. Basically, what I think would need to happen is for someone to create a Mackie Control connection in companion, if that is even possible. I mean, I can mute/unmute without that by having LP learn a command, but to get the feedback it seems like it has to go to a controller of some kind.

I’ll keep digging and see if I can figure anything out. If I find anything that works, I’ll post back to you and others who might want to know.

Thank you.

As I say, your best bet, instead of wasting a lot of time, would be to see if Apple can help. It’s paid software so they should be able to support you!
