# RCP Macro creation

Hey Andy,
Having an issue recording macros using the Yamaha-RCP module for companion on a TF Mixer.. I have the module connected and see action in the log. But when i try to record the macro nothing is recorded and the button just toggles the “record macro” on and off.
I am not in front of the console and I am trying to record the macros using the companion emulator and TF Editor connected to a mac that i am controlling with Team Viewer.

Hi Ben;
Thanks for the question.
Note that the Macro creation on RCP is different than the CLQL method. (As you know, the TF is not supported on the CLQL module).
Have a look at this video and, if you are following that procedure, let me know if you’re still having issues?
