If you are on a Mac, you can use Rosstalk to trigger companion from ProPresenter and you can do it over a network too. Basically turn on Crosstalk in Companion and in ProPresenter, go to devices and add a new Rosstalk device. Enter the IP of the computer running Companion (can be the same computer) and the port that Companion recommends. Create a new Macro and add a communication protocol and add Rosstalk/Custom Control. The control is “CC and the location os the button” E.G. CC 1/2/3. Which would be Page 1, Row 2, Button 3. It works really well and I use it all the time.
