Hi Andy,

So I’m using the DM Module, and connected to the editor…
I am not seeing any custom variables with channel names etc, but, when I build actions, it does seem to “know” the name of outputs…

is there a way I can turn this into feedback I can turn into a variable to name buttons etc ?

As always, my big goal is to enable SoF from a streamdeck… which, last I heard was waiting on Yamaha to actually addd to the control protocol ?

You would use Local Variables to get values like Channel name from the console.
Go to the Local Variables tab, add a local Variable, choose InputChannel/Label (I think) and then give that variable a name (let’s say “Name”).
Then in your Style tab, you can use $(local:Name) for the text. (as an example)

There is no action to put the console into SOF mode. Many have asked, but Yamaha just doesn’t support that feature ATM.
