# Yamaha Expanded Bank Options

The PEQ Bank recall seems to work well with RCP on DM7 and Rivage.
(But the Companion module only has “Toggle” which doesn’t let users select between all 4 banks when in theater mode on the DM7 or Rivage)
I also noticed that there are no RCP logs when changing Banks on either Dynamics 1 or Dynamics 2.
In theatre mode, I would also like to be able to rename the PEQ and dynamics banks, but I don’t see RCP logs when changing the names of any of the banks on the Rivage.
These are the logs for recalling PEQ banks in this order: D,C,B,A (Recalling Bank A seems to also log every EQ setting)

Interesting. I’ll have to look into this multiple peq bank mode on the DM7 and Rivage that have the Theater option. Thank you for reporting it.

On DM7, selecting Bank B and then back to Bank A gives these logs:
(so it seems like it logs all the PEQ parameters every time the bank changes)

Changing Banks for dynamics 1 or dynamics 2 doesn’t show any logs.
But when “Actor” is engaged for that channel enabling the 4 different banks of PEQ/Dynamics, I don’t see any logs when I change banks on PEQ or either of the dynamics.
(both of these were done on the same console which has both theatre and broadcast licenses activated)

Try version 3.6.2 that I just uploaded and see if that allows for bank switching.

Oh awesome, we’ve been investigating if this is possible as switching a bunch of channels to another bank is a tedious process for more than a few channels. From my investigations, I’m not sure the console exposes a proper way to do this via RCP (editor can do it, but that’s obviously not rcp). I’ll have to give this module version a try sometime this week.

On the Rivage it works with 0,1,2,3 for banks A,B,C,D (or numbers with decimals are rounded down, and anything over 3 recalls bank D)
So I can test it on the DM7 later this week.
