Automatic switching based on channel level

Is it possible to create a trigger based on the audio levels? I’m on a Yamaha DM7.

I see the RCP Channel Level variable, but cannot see an option when adding a trigger.

Should be easy enough.
Trigger on variable change, then condition is when variable value is above some amount.
Where are you getting stuck?

Here’s what I mean.
When channel 1’s level gets above -30, the channel is cued.
