Hello,
The venue I work in used the Digico 4rea4 as a backbone. The software is almost identical to the DLive software and midi implementation looks pretty similar. How would I go about having a companion module built for it?
Hello!
Is the communication protocol documented? That’s the first step.
Typically modules are written by devs who either own the product they are writing for, or have regular access to it, so 2nd step would be to have the product in the hands of a developer who can write and debug the module and test it with the actual device.
I do have all the documentation. Since I’m a new user, it isnt allowing me to update the files. I’m by no means a programmer but the midi protocol looks almost identical as the D-Live and AHM. I think it would just need tweaks to adjust for the increased channel/bus count
So after messing around with the midi settings, both the D-live and AHM work. The issue I have is that the AHM has feedback functionality but only goes up to 64 channels. Dlive has the matching 128 channels but doesn’t have the full number of snapshots available for me to recall for each zone. Do you know someone I could contact to modify one of the modules to get up to the IO and snapshots that i require? Willing to pay for their services.
If you click the the 3 vertical dots beside the module, there is a menu there. Select help or bugs and it will bring up a window with information on how to contact the dev.
