Getting meters to work with streamdeck and Yamaha Tio

So I was able to figure out how to change gain with a regular streamdeck. I just set the HA Gain field to 1 or -1 and checked “variable”. I have to use one button to increase gain and another button to attenuate but that’s fine. I still cannot get the meters to work. I watched the video you posted. If there is a step by step for how to assign a meter preset to a specific channel or how to go about configuring it all, that would be very helpful. Using a Tio at the moment…

So you followed the steps here?

Check and make sure you enabled meters in the config settings.

So I have it working with those steps except that the meters are extremely slow. Probably updates the signal level once every second or so. Any idea why that might be? I’m using a macbook pro m1 max with a streamdeck xl

What do you have the meter update setting at in the config?
1000ms = 1 second. I’ve found 100ms is a good setting typically.

ah, yes, that fixed that great. is there a variable that I need to get meters working for my outputs? i saw input variables and HA gain variables but didn’t see anything specifically for outputs.

Cool!
It’s the same process, just choose the output level instead of input. The video shows a Mix output, for example.
