Hi All
Has anybody managed to get rtpMidi and Bitfocus Comapnion generic (on Win 11) talking together ok ?
ive got a Behringer Xtouch surface configure to rtpMidi
but within companion connection generic midi i cant see anything in MIDI IN drop down (MIDI OUT only has MS GS Wavetable Synth)
Windows device manager seems to have teVirtual Midi Driver x64 running happily
heres where im stuck anybody any ideas of what I can try ? TIA
Why are you using rtpMIDI?
If you want to connect companion to the X-touch just plug the usb cable from the x-touch to the computer running companion. Not sure if you need a Behringer usb to midi driver, but you might.
Because of the enviroment Im using this in the XTouch is remote from companion so using rtpMidi to bring Midi back via ethernet
It turned out to be an issue with Win11 it worked first time in Win10 - anybody seen a fix for this ?
