Macros for Yamaha consoles

I literally had a conversation with my no.2 on a job today about why Yamaha don’t have a more user friendly or intuitive way of implementing what I would think of as “snapshots” or macros… you can do it with recall focus but it’s not straightforward…

Bit of Googling and I come across this, hot damn! Going to have some fun with this once I can actually access the download!

You should start with the built-in RCP module. It does Macros too.

The 3.0 version of the CLQL module should be ready soon, once I get a chance to test it.

CLQL module for companion v3 is available for testing. Let me know if you give it a try!

Hi Andy, I would love to try the MIDI Module on my DM7 console. Where can I download the module for my R. Pi?

HI Chris;

The Yamaha-CLQL module (previously called Yamaha-MIDI) only works with the CL and QL consoles. Sorry!
