I created MIDI In and MIDI Out as virtual MIDI ports. They don’t show up in ProPresenter or OBS.
Do I have to still use loopMIDI to create virtual MIDI ports?
No, you shouldn’t have to use loopMIDI.
I assume you clicked “Save”?
Are you on MacOS or Windows?
They show up in MIDI Monitor on my Mac, I can double-check Windows if that’s what you’re using.

I’m seeing that perhaps the virtual ports are not supported in Windows. I’ll try and confirm.
If that’s the case, then there’s probably no point in even having that selection because they’re built into MacOS and I can’t see anyone using them in Linux.
Please test using loopMIDI for now and let me know if you find any other issues.
I’m especially interested in people trying the Action Recorder to “learn” MIDI messages from other MIDI sources, so please try that if you get a chance and let me know if it works as expected.
