Vu Meter colors in RCP module

hi andy again, can i ask, how did you do the green, amber and red on the vu metering?

and also is there a variable that i can turn the phantom power for a particular channel?

They are already, based on Yamaha’s colors and db values.

Stereo Metering on DM3 using RCP module

The way the meter levels are identified on the DM3 can be a little non-intuitve. The “channel” numbers for Stereo channels and outputs are in groups of 2. For the Main Stereo Left/Right the numbers are 1 for Left, 2 for Right. For the Stereo Input channel, again the numbers are 1 for Left, 2 for Right. For the FX returns, FX1 Return Left is 1, FX1 Return Right is 2, FX2 Return Left is 3, FX2 Return Right is 4. N.B. The Meter Presets in the module only made a Stereo meter for Main L/R. This …

Are you not seeing the colors?

As far as phantom power goes… There’s a search box in the action drop down. Type “phantom” to see if there’s an action for that.

Try “48”
If nothing comes up then unfortunately Yamaha doesn’t support that command for your particular mixer.
Which mixer are you controlling btw?

Ya, doesn’t look like that’s a parameter that Yamaha has added yet to the RCP protocol. Make sure to let them know you want that function. Once they add it, I’ll have it as part of the RCP module.
