Is there a way to save a file from the Yamaha 01v?
The 01v96, 01v96i, 01v96VCM all have USB ports so you can connect them to your computer and store the settings and scenes via Studio Manager.
However, if you’re speaking of the original 01v, it pre-dates USB so you’d need to use the MIDI Bulk Dump function of the mixer and some MIDI sysex recording software. Yamaha didn’t start adding removable storage media until the DM2000 I believe!
I used the Cubase in version 4, if I remember correctly. Also to control the table remotely. YAMAHA01V (silver) Greetings!
