Yamaha CL/QL Module on Companion 4 on Windows not working

I have to temporarily move my companion setup to a windows PC. When I did this, everything is working (including a couple of modules in the pkg_modules folder, except for the Yamaha CL/QL module. It seems like it is recognizing it and shows the module in the list but it just shows the yellow triangle alert. This worked on the Mac in the beta and the new 4 stable. I redownloaded the module and put it into the list but it still won’t work. Any ideas on what could be causing this? On the Mac it even showed previous versions for it. I should add that it did not ever work on “Dev” but it did work when I had the version selected. Thank you!

Sounds like a similar problem to this:

Thank you for clarifying. I am now able to reproduce the problem. The module will work on 3.5 (with a small change), but it fails in the way you describe on v4.x. It’s something in the way Companion is bundling the module that v4 doesn’t like. Thank you for reporting this and for your patience while I get to the bottom of this issue!

Ok, I see that the old method no longer works for v4.
You have to IMPORT the module in the “Modules” tab. Point it to the .tgz file. In the configuration, select “3.1.3”, not “Dev” for the version BEFORE enabling it. Hit “Save” and then try enabling it.

Go to the Latest v3 Modules to get the .tgz file.

Thank you! I ended up setting the Mac Mini back up and using it, but I will try this out. I figured it had something to do with the new way modules are handled. Thanks again!
