Creating a Lock/Unlock Macro for the CL console using the CLQL module

Hello Andy and Jay!

Thank you you for posting this video and the all the great RCP content. I am hoping to recreate the macro which locks and unlocks the console. I have been success with recording and executing other macros, but the console lock/unlock are not registering as recorded steps in companion. Any thoughts would be appreciated! - Thank you!

Thank you for your kind words!

Are you using the CLQL module?

No, I am using the RCP Module.

Copy. You’ll need the CLQL module.

I was attempting to setup a console lock/unlock button on bitfocus companion using either the RCP or midi modules. I tried using action recorder and when I was able to get it to work it didn’t record console lock.

Is this function still possible in version 4.1.1 (or 4.2.4 if I update), is there another way to get this functionality, or am I SOL?

Thanks

It’s only possible using the CLQL module. That command is not part of the RCP or MIDI messages.
To use the CLQL module, you’ll need to download it from this forum and install it manually.

Thank you! Apologies for not finding you post prior to making my own.
