Yamaha Midi Module/Connect to Editor

Hello!

I have downloaded the latest custom companion build from this website (not the main companion build), and I do not see “Yamaha MIDI” as an option for an instance. Just options for “RCP”. I am attempting to create macros using just the editor (no access to a console until the show loads in). Is this possible? I came across someone saying they used the “specific IP address of the editor” but I am a little confused about how to obtain that. Maybe it is my laptop’s IP?

Whoops!

My mistake. I was updating the RCP module and must have forgotten to include the MIDI module!

I’ll post a link asap. Thanks for the heads up!

Hello,

I am new to the forum. First of all, I would like to thank you for the great job you have done.

I have started to do some research on the usefulness of companion and yamaha CL, and I would like to go more in depth about it. I’m trying to connect my companion to my own editor, but I can’t seem to get it to work. When I try to connect, it stays all the time in I’m listening, but I can’t execute any action. Could you give me a hand?

Did you follow the instructions on the help screen?
Click the ? beside the module name. (I think - it’s been a while since I looked at 2.4)

i would like to thank you for your great effort in making these modules but i’ve just purchased a stream deck and i’ve been trying to connect companion to a CL editor offline but i couldn’t find the yamaha midi module in companion and when i clicked the link above it redirected me to an error page

The MIDI module hasn’t been updated to v3, so to use it, you’ll need to use Companion 2.4.

i am on V2.4.2 and when click on the link am redirected to a page that says " Oops! That page doesn’t exist or is private"
